The name honors Moneira’s grandmother, Vanetta “Jane” Hawkins, born in 1922 — a woman of remarkable strength, wisdom, and resilience. Her life left a permanent imprint on Moneira, who now passes that same strength to her own children. They are, quite literally, a page from their grandmother’s book.

In 2018, after becoming a Certified Life Coach, Moneira launched Changing the Face of Homelessness — a movement born from her own lived experience. She knows what it feels like to be homeless with children, misunderstood, and judged. Her mission is to restore dignity, shift perceptions, and meet real needs with compassion.

Moneira is a gifted, purpose‑driven leader who loves what she does. Her goal is to inspire the next woman coming from behind — reminding her that no matter what she has faced, she can still rise.
